This love story actually begins with Marie's cousin Abigail, who at the time was a Virginia Tech student hoping to get her feet wet in the music industry.. enter Tour Manager Dan! While on the road with ARIZONA, he meets Abby at their VT show & decided to "take her under his wing" and have her work a few gigs for him with the band.

Fast forward to August 2018 - Abby invites Marie to Las Vegas for a big ol' birthday weekend & hears ARIZONA is coincidentally playing a huge show in town the very same weekend, opening for Panic At The Disco (one of Marie's absolute favorites). Cut to Dan -the benevolent prince that he is- dropping 2 tickets at will call for Abby & "her cousin" (which Dan loves to clarify in his rendition of this story: "..could have been a dude for all I knew") and invites them backstage where Marie & Dan finally meet for the first time.

One epic night in Vegas quickly turned into an unforgettable extended weekend when Dan changed his flight not once but twice to stay in town longer.. and the adventures only continued when the two flew back to their mutual home of Jersey. Almost immediately after the Vegas meet, came the infamous Iceland trip, and before they knew it they were in lockdown 2020 together - the truest of tests. Though it's safe to say they passed with flying colors once the deal was sealed with an accidental entire summer spent at Dan's beloved Long Lake.

Which brings us to, finally, the most wild ride of all.. tying that knot fam!
